Electric Wine Opener, Stainless Steel

This is a n attractive and well-made product which works like a charm. One caveat: if you are an occasional user, you might want to leave the unit plugged into the active charger as the battery does not stay charged over long periods of time

We have had a lot of wine openers, many were OK, several broke. I saw this item in a friend's home, and asked his opinion. He and his wife love the simplicity of using it, so I decided to purchase this item for a Christmas gift for my wife, who wanted only a simple mechanical opener. Once she opened it, she was anxious to try it. With manual openers, we always had problems with getting the screw close to the center of the cork, resulting in a splintered cork. This device removes that issue, and is so easy to use, we got the first bottle open right off. Just make sure the device is directly over the bottle. I highly recommend this
